Updated draft 2/12

If the beginning could have more space and silence in it up until 1:03-1:45.
—OK; let me know if you still want it thinner.

I love the transition that happens at 2:23 – can we keep that sound going just a little longer?
— I’m not sure if you mean the sustained piano or the choppy one. Is this version a step in the right direction?

Could we return to the slightly quieter moments around 3:58 to contrast the frantic movement of the dancers?
— better now?

I would like to have a very distinct cue for the dancers at 4:18 (could be silence or noise) It should have a break type feeling and then they all run to the upstage corner.
— OK?

Is it possible for us to put a cue in for the dancer that runs around in the circle. I hear one at 7:23 when she does the cartwheel on the other dancer in the back. Maybe another at 7:36 or so…
— There’s a memorable gasp peaking about 7:33, so I added booms at 7:44 and 7:56. Is that helpful?

Full draft!

The last video I got was missing the first entrances. The video file here has my soundtrack added to the video, so it’s also missing the first few seconds. The audio file has the full soundtrack.

From here, I’ll just be tweaking balances. I won’t change anything that would change the dancers’ cues (except to make them easier to hear).

I tried putting the video with new soundtrack on YoTube, but the soundtrack didn’t make it for some reason. Below is a link to download the video (Quicktime MOV format) and an MP3 of the audio only.

I’ve got audio in for all the points I want to sync with. The remaining gaps will be filled with (mostly wilder, more active) passages that are meant to play in counterpoint with the dancers. I hope to have those in place next weekend.

Some of teh sounds  are unprocessed, and the “grinding stone” sound is still too “burpy” for me, so bear with me there. I’m focusing on timing first. I kept it at 128 BPM throughout.
