Some clarifications:

• Question 23: The decibels value is displayed to the right of the Volume slider, in the bottom left corner of the window.
• Questions 24–25: Different timbres have different partials: sine waves with different frequencies and amplitudes. Some sounds have most of their partials line up in a harmonic series, some don’t. Some have louder partials in the mid-range, some have multiple amplitude peaks, etc. And some sounds have their partials fit into a harmonic series, but their missing some harmonics: the ones that are there line up, but there are gaps, for example every other harmonic may be missing, leaving on the the 1st, 3rd, 5th, etc. harmonics—the “odd” numbered ones. To answer questions 24 and 25, look for one waveform to have a full set of harmonics and for another waveform to be missing every other harmonic—switch back and forth, and you’ll see some disappear and reappear.
